The Hook Cleat is made from a strong and durable glass filled nylon. It is the simplest, yet most versatile product
that we offer. It can be used as a simple hook. Or, you can use the 3/16 hole located in the body of the cleat to
thread a separate line or insert a hook from a rubber strap. A wide range of materials and line sizes from small
diameter twine to 1/4" rope will preform quite well with this cleat so you will be able to use whatever line is handy at
the time. And because the line does not have to be threaded through an opening, the line can contain knots,
splices, or the unused line can still remain on the spool.
|HOOK CLEAT with looped anchor line installed:
For items whose size, shape, or location prohibit the safe use of the hook, we offer a the same hook
cleat as above with a looped anchor line installed. Just wrap this line around the object and thread
the hook through the loop.
|HOOK CLEAT installed on 9" EPDM rubber strap:
This combination will help to maintain line tension as well as provide additional stretch to aid in removal.
Please follow all required safety precautions associated with the use of rubber straps.
|TAIL CLEAT; ANCHOR POINT:
A general purpose anchor point that uses two holes spaced 1" apart to secure the body of the cleat to
virtually any object. A wide range of materials and line sizes from small diameter twine to 1/4" rope will
preform quite well with this cleat so you will be able to use whatever line is handy at the time. And
because the line does not have to be threaded through an opening, the line can contain knots, splices,
or the unused line can still remain on the spool.
|TENT STAKE with 10" steel spike:
This is basically the same anchor point as shown above. The main difference is that it contains only one
hole that will accept the a 10" spike that can be driven into the ground. And because of its unique
design, it is possible for a few cleats to be stacked on top of each other enabling multiple tie down points
while only having to drive one spike.
